Beaches
Serapo Beach is the main beach of the municipality, located 1 km from the city center. It is very popular with both Italian and foreign tourists, attracted by its fine white sand. The beach is about 1.5 km long and has mostly been leased by the Municipality of Gaeta. In the past, this beach was a huge dune, but the sand was used to make bottles by the glassworks between Corso and Serapo, which significantly reduced the width of the beach. The beach is very wide, with fine sand, clean water, and shallow water for quite a distance, making it perfect for families with children.
